9 Side Hustles to Make Money this Weekend

side hustles to make money this weekendTime is money and we’re all looking for a side hustle. Here is a small list of side hustles to make money this weekend.

I can personally say that my blog here is a side hustle. My goal is to build a savings through cash and investments and side hustles will help me with that. I feel that with any extra source of income it will help me greatly. There is no way I can accomplish any of my goals based off of one income.

What debt are you trying to pay off?

If you have debt to pay off, find a side hustle to bring in extra income to help pay it off.

Need cash for a future vacation? Find a side hustle that can help you plan make your dream vacation come true.

Here is a list of 9 side hustles to make money this weekend.

I couldn’t come up with 10, but maybe you can list something down in the comments section below.

1. Start a Blog

I know you’ve most likely seen this everywhere. You’re probably sick of seeing this suggestion. Start a blog they say. It can create opportunities they say. It’s true! You will never know unless you try it yourself. Having a blog opens up the doors to new opportunities and to meeting new people.

I do have to say this though, if you are willing to give blogging a try as a side hustle, be willing to put in the extra time. A blog doesn’t build itself overnight. It takes about 6 months or so of consistent work to start seeing results. Are you that patient enough?

2. Online Surveys

Online surveys is one of the easiest ways to earn cash.

I have the app on my phone, because of time constraints, I need easy access to it. There’s more than one online survey site that you can sign up with. I just work with one because I don’t have the time to use all survey sites to make money. It’s a bit time consuming. Also, don’t count on this as a way to get rich quick kind of thing. Again, it takes time to fill out surveys.

3. Virtual Assistant

Before I got started with even thinking about starting a blog, I was trying to find ways to earn an extra income online. Virtual Assistant work was one of them. I came across a site called Zirtual.com.

Virtual Assistants performs a variety of tasks that also sets time limits on what your clients asks you to do so that you are paid fairly. You can get started by applying to become a virtual assistant, clients can select who they want based on what they need.

4. Tutoring

Do you have a knack with playing guitars? Why not share your knowledge and start a tutoring business? Whether you know how to play a musical instrument or not, share your knowledge with others and start a tutoring business. You can do what you love, help others learn, and generate an income with this side hustle. It’s a win-win for both sides.

5. Cut Hair

I know a lot of people who taught themselves how to cut hair. Take my boyfriend for example. He didn’t want to pay $30 (tip included) for each hair cut our son needed. So he went to Ross, bought a buzzer kit and practiced on our son. It wasn’t perfect the first time but with time and more practice he got a lot better.

Are you willing to teach yourself to service others?

When you really think about it, haircuts for men are so much more expensive compared to women. Imagine having to pay $30 or more for a haircut every 3 weeks. Now this would be a really good side hustle to start with.

6. Babysitting

Know any parents that could use a break and have a date night? Babysitting can be a great side hustle to start this weekend. Start with asking your family members, friends, co-workers, or even your neighbors. There’s also tons of activities that you can search up online to keep the kiddies busy.

7. Lawn Work

Do you live in a neighborhood where everyone seems to have a lawn? This would be a great side hustle and your neighbors can be your client. Where I currently live, every house in our neighborhood has a lawn and I hear a mower start almost every weekend. If I had my way, I would rather pay someone to mow our lawn.

8. Sell on Ebay or Craigslist

Do you have items that are still in good condition? Sell them! This is what I’m currently doing at the moment. I was such a shoe addict in my earlier years. I have over 15 pairs of high heels and there’s a few pairs I haven’t worn yet. I’m at the age now where I ask myself, ‘when am I ever going to wear 4 inch heels?’ Let me tell you, de-cluttering my closet and earning some cash for doing so is an awesome feeling.

9. Dog sitting

Are you a dog lover that doesn’t mind sharing your yard with other dogs? Dog sitting is another side hustle idea. I never realized how much boarding a pet could cost until a friend of mine mentioned it to me. She wanted to go on a vacation but every boarding place she called were either booked or way too expensive.

There you have it, 9 side hustles to make money this weekend. This list is pretty simple and most of which are side hustles from home kind of thing.

Do you have any more to add to this list of side hustles to make money this weekend? The more the merrier.

  1. I love selling things on eBay. I haven’t tried Craigslist yet because I am weary of other people! My favorite side hustle is mystery shopping. I would love to get into pet sitting-what a joy it would be to get paid to hang out with dogs!

    1. Hi Jax!

Thanks for leaving a comment! I definitely have to look into mystery shopping. I totally forgot all about it.

      Have a nice day!
